About the work
Gary Allen is a draughtsman based in Omaha, Nebraska, by way of Kansas City. His sketchbook ranges widely — bowls and other quiet still-lifes, streets and buildings, meals and markets, a jacket on the back of a chair — whatever catches his eye on any given day. He also works as a traveling jeweler and shows around Omaha and the surrounding cities throughout the year. Most drawings are offered as both one-of-one originals and small-run archival prints.
